On November 11, 2020, Lawyer Nguyen Hung Quang – President of VICMC delivered a lecture on commercial dispute resolution by mediation for the POHE class of Business Law K59 at the National Economics University.

After a brief introduction to commercial mediation, Lawyer Nguyen Hung Quang has analyzed the skills of mediators and lawyers in mediation. For each principle, method, and approach to mediation, students participate in interesting games and practice sessions.

During the afternoon, the students watched a simulated mediation session based on a hypothetical mediation scenario. The practical part took place in an exciting and dramatic way and after many negotiation efforts, the two sides reached an agreement. At the end of the mediation session, LS. Nguyen Hung Quang also gave detailed, objective, and practical comments on mediation. 

Through this lecture, students have the opportunity to learn about this dispute resolution method and understand the roles and skills required of mediators and lawyers when participating in mediation.
