Training program on PPA organized by ERAVCTED on October 12-13, 2023, coordinated with Bitexco Energy Joint Stock Company (Bitexco Power) on “Construction investment, Operational management of power plants and contract dispute resolution, legal issues arising during the implementation of electricity purchase contracts” with the offline and online participation of senior experts and Bitexco Power staves.

The opening ceremony of the training program was honored to welcome Mr. Nguyen Quang Minh – Director of ERAVCTED; Mr. Lai Dac Kien – Deputy Director of the Project Development Department, representative of Bitexco Power and Lawyer Nguyen Tuan Phat – Head of the Energy and Infrastructure working group of VICMC, CEDR certified mediator.

At the training program on PPA organized by ERAVCTED, Lawyer Phat provided Bitexco Powers’ staves with legal knowledge and information, bringing practical value and support for human resource development. In addition, the Lawyer had an introduction and lecture on the method of resolving disputes by mediation in general and VICMC’s mediation process in particular to point out the potential and usefulness of this method in resolving disputes arising during the implementation of power purchase agreements (PPA).

The presented lectures with current regulations and practical experiences attracted the participants to exchange and give opinnions.

The training course ended successfully, opening up many promising futures not only for quality and reputable training on topics related to the field of electricity and renewable energy but also for popularizing dispute resolution methods of mediation to experts and staves, helping mediation to become the preferred method of dispute resolution in Vietnam.
