DISCUSSION AND CLOSING CEREMONY OF VIETNAM MEDIATION MOOT 2023 (V-MED 2023)

On September 25, 2023, the Discussion and Closing Ceremony of Vietnam Mediation Moot 2023 (V-Med 2023) held at Campus B, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC).

At the ceremony, V-Med was pleased to welcome guests who were the contestants and parents who have always supported the Competition from the first days.

The Closing ceremony was also honored to welcome sponsors who are companies and law offices, including: NHQuang & Associates, Rajah&Tann LCT Lawyers, EP Legal, LTT & Lawyers, LNT & Partners and individual sponsors, who had great contribution to the success of V-Med 2023.

Beside the honoring ceremony of individuals and groups, V-Med 2023 also organized a discussion within the framework of V-Med’s event series: “3WH Mediation Code” with the participation of:

Dr. Le Hung Long – Deputy Secretary General of VICMC;

Mediator Le Trong Them;

Mediator Luong Van Ly – Head of VICMC’s Foreign affairs Department;

– Dr. Nguyen Thi Anh – Deputy Head of the Faculty of Law, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City and

– Do Pham Khanh Huyen – Head of V-MED Club.

With many years of experience in mediation activities, the speakers had a special sharing for V-Med 2023’s contestants in particular and students of the School of Economics, Law and State Management (CELG) in particular.

Finally, the award ceremony for the Top 20 best teams of stages 1 and 2 of the competition ended successfully with medals and prizes awarded to deserving contestants. 

Competing teams were awarded Gold Medals, Silver Medals, and Bronze Medals in two categories: Mediator and Mediation Participants. In addition, there are 4 special prizes, including: Most Popular Team Award, Best Mediator Award, Best Mediation Participants Award, and Most Promising Team Award.

VICMC is very honored to be the Organizing Committee of an exciting commercial mediation competition for students. With the goal of focusing on training activities as well as making mediation a widely known method of resolving disputes, VICMC always hopes to be able to organize more useful playgrounds in the future.
