Mediator Nguyen Anh Minh shared with SIMC representatives about the legal framework of commercial mediation in Vietnam, and also raised questions about Singapore’s experience in developing mediation.

SIMC representative emphasized that mediation in Singapore has developed more than 20 years ago, since 1998 because they had soon realised the benefits of mediation, such as: information security, quick resolution, maintaining peace and reputation of each party…these superiorities are hardly found at arbitration and the Court.

The intimate meeting between representatives of the parties created a premise for cooperation between mediation centers in Vietnam, including the Vietnam International Commercial Mediation Center (VICMC).

VICMC is very honoured to welcome the leaders of the Singapore International Mediation Center. Hopefully, in the future, the two organisations will have more in-depth exchanges and cooperation, consistent with VICMC’s development goals of strengthening international cooperation.
