On the evening of June 17, 2021, the students receiving the GES (Globalized Era Scholarship) 2020 in Hanoi participated in a meeting on mediation with two VICMC Mediators, Assoc. Dr. Nguyen Minh Hang and Lawyer Le Trong Them.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the meeting took place via Zoom to ensure safety and compliance with epidemic prevention principles. However, the students and speakers still had many active discussions about interesting perspectives on real-life mediation.

Through the Q&A part and sharing of real-life mediation experiences with two speakers, the students learned about the most important and distinctive aspects of this dispute resolution method. It can be seen that mediation knowledge and skills are not only applied to resolving commercial disputes but can also become an essential soft skill to resolve conflicts and disagreements in daily life.

Through the 2-hour meeting, the GES 2020 in Hanoi had accumulated new knowledge about mediation as well as learned more about this dispute resolution method. VICMC would like to wish the students to achieve their passion for law and success.
