MOU Signing Ceremony between Saigon Innovation Hub (SIHUB) and VICMC

On June 8, 2022, Vietnam International Commercial Mediation Center (VICMC) and Ho Chi Minh City Innovation and Entrepreneurship Support Center. Ho Chi Minh – Saigon Innovation Hub (SIHUB) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU).

The main cooperation contents included in the Agreement include:

  • Cooperate in organizing training courses, training, seminars, exchange, and sharing of knowledge and skills for startups, especially startup legal issues and dispute resolution related to startup activities.
  • Coordinating legal advice/support for startups in the process of starting up and operating (business models, cooperation models, protection of intellectual property rights, access to capital, etc.)

Ho Chi Minh City Startup and Innovation Hub – SIHUB is Vietnam’s first startup and innovation model supported by the State in the form of connection and resource sharing. SIHUB is the place to receive the resources of Ho Chi Minh City, the Department of Science and Technology, international organizations, businesses, and other resources to support and help start-up activities, aiming to be the start-up city of the nation.

Saigon Innovation Hub was established on August 5, 2016, by the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City. After nearly 3 years of establishment, SIHUB has supported more than 960 startup projects, and 15 incubators, supported capacity building, developed a network for more than 100 startup mentors and trained 115 university lecturers on entrepreneurship. industry and innovation.

SIHUB supports districts to develop startup – innovation, connect markets and promote financial investment for startup & innovation activities. SIHUB connects with other startup-innovation ecosystems in the US, Canada, Finland, Sweden, Germany, Australia, Korea, Japan, Thailand, Laos, and Malaysia.
