With the developement of socio-economic, disputes appear more and more and therefore, different dispute settlement methods have been applied. And so far, with distinct benefits, mediation has gradually changed the role of “alternative” dispute resolution to become the preferred method of dispute resolution by lawyers and businesses around the world.
Being aware of the importance of mediation, as well as contributing to the context of transnational mediation, Association Pour La Coopération Juridique Europe Vietnam (ACJEV), Vietnam International Commercial Mediation Center (VICMC), Foreign Trade University (FTU), International Mediation Council (CIM) and Société de Législation Comparée (SCL) will co-organize the Workshop “Mediation in France, Europe and in Vietnam; the role of lawyers in mediation”.
Especially, with the sponsorship of the French Embassy, French lawyers will participate in the workshop as speakers along with Vietnam’s experienced lawyers and mediators. By attending the workshop, participants would not only have the chance to deepen knowledge on the context of mediation in Europe and Vietnam, but also have the opportunity to discuss issues surrounding mediation in specific fields.
