Vietnamese team participated in the 16th ICC International Commercial Mediation Competition

As one of the world’s largest international law competitions dedicated to international commercial mediation, the 16th ICC International Commercial Mediation Competition took place from February 5-11, 2021. The event attracted the participation of 48 teams, 38 countries, 120 experts and international commercial mediators.

Passing the competitive selection round, the team included students from the National Economics University and the Faculty of Law – Hanoi National University: Luu Huy Hoang, Le Hong Linh, Nguyen Duy An, Nguyen Vu Anh Phuong has become the representative of Vietnam to participate in the contest.

After the online training course on mediation and mediation skills in September 2020, Vietnam International Commercial Mediation Center VICMC continues to provide professional support and partially sponsored the contest entry fee (6,000,000 VND). ) for the team. Lawyer Tran Thi Huong – Mediator of VICMC accompanied the team as Coach. Besides, Mediator Nguyen Hung Quang, LS. Nguyen Tuan Phat also actively supported and guided you during the preparation for the competition.

After 04 intense matches, unfortunately, the team could not make it to top 4 teams to be able to enter the next round. However, the opportunity to compete and interact with international teams will certainly be a great and memorable experience, helping students accumulate and improve knowledge and skills on mediation and continuing to nurture a passion for commercial mediation.
