TRAINING COURSE FOR LAWYERS ON 25/05/2024

On May 25, 2024, a training course for lawyers with the topic “Skills of lawyers in mediating commercial disputes” was held by The Vietnam Lawyer Professional Training Center ( LTC ) under the Vietnam Bar Federation via the Zoom platform with the participation of lawyers.

TRAINING COURSE FOR LAWYERS ON 25/05/2024 

Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Minh Hang – General Secretary of VICMC participated as a lecturer and shared knowledge and practical experience on skills and roles of lawyers in mediation process.

Issues that lawyers concerned and asked questions about including: the situation-handling skills of lawyers and mediators in the mediation process, the ability and procedures to request the court to recognize and enforce the mediation agreement…

With many years of teaching experience, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Minh Hang took advantage of discussion questions and showed sample mediation session video to help lawyers easily access and grasp the content of the training course.

Through the training course, lawyers were not only learnt knowledge and experience in the field of dispute resolution in general and commercial mediation in particular, but also shared on opportunities for professional development in the field of mediation such as: being able to improve reputation, guaranteed remuneration, diversifying practice areas, meeting market demand for lawyers with mediation skills in specialized disputes… From there, it helps lawyers see the opportunities and benefits of becoming a “mediation lawyer” in addition to a consulting lawyer or litigation lawyer.
